Fall, Leaves, Fall
Fall, leaves, fall

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;
Lengthen night and shorten day;
Every leaf speaks bliss to me
Fluttering from the autumn tree.
I shall smile when wreaths of snow
Blossom where the rose should grow;
I shall sing when night's decay
Ushers in a drearier day.


I was outside and I noticed that certain chill in the air and I am looking at the trees....they are ready to turn. I love the fall, the anticipation for what's to come. The crispness in the air, the little ones dressed at ghouls and zombies, the picking of apples, and the raking of the leaves. It culminates in a feast of Thanks...with friends and family. It ends with the first frost and deep cold....ahh, winter approaches.

I found this poem by Emily Bronte...I could have written a poem about fall, but hers is so great and I will use hers instead! What do you like about the fall? What don't you like?

 I love the changing of the leaves on the tree and the cooler weather too. Those walks down the beach will be a lot more fun in the fall then the summer time too. Love the poem ty for sharing hugs v

 I love fall...I just don't like winter. I actually saw a tree whose leaves were already turning. I was kind of surprised...it's a bit early.

 Yep, guess autumn, hey, even winter has its 'pros's'? That carpet of beautiful multi-coloured leaves - Mmm ..... nearly didn't see the naked there! Or the sexy girl against the back-drop of autumn color. Oops, now I see another girl! Def makes it more exciting?!

 My area still not seeing much leaves fall and colors of fall/Autumn leaves on tree as yet.
