Thank You......My Watchers!!!

Thank You......My Watchers!!!  I have realized that I have bloggers from other countries from where I am. I am honored and pleased that I have garnered your approval to being a watcher to my blog. I have also tried to reciprocate to your blog if you have one. I learned to speak German in college and then I went to Germany when I was in the United States Army. But, alas my German has pretty much faded away….the old adage of use it or lose it is true. I lost my ability to speak conversational German (Deutsch)…all I have left ist meine kinder Deutsch. When I lived in Germany as proud member of the Armed Forces, I was a good citizen soldier, and I was a very good guest in the countries I visited while traveling through Europe. I respected each country’s culture and cuisine...and their delicious beverages! I really appreciated the people of these countries and how they accepted me with open arms. I do recall not paying for my drinks in many places in Europe and I always reciprocated buying the next round for my hosts. I don’t ever recall anybody who did not appreciate me and my status as U.S. Army soldier. I miss those times. One day I will travel again and I will try to forge new relationships. For those watchers from Canada, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Portugal, South Africa, New Zealand, and Singapore….Thank you, Danke, Obrigado, and Ευχαριστούμε! For those watchers from the United States, I appreciate you guys too….thanks a bunch!
