In spite of our best efforts...

In spite of our best efforts... The worst has happenned... My sister was in ICU in the hospital here, and she got better.. They moved her to the regular part of the hospital. She was ok for a few days.. Then she started to sleep more and more.. Then, she didn't wake up.. She was in so much pain, that I thought maybe she would have to be asleep in the extended care for much of her life... And I was thinking the other best option, would be to fall asleep.. and not wake up.. I am thankful to say, that she will not be in pain any more.. She died in her sleep.. I miss her terribly...but I don't wish that she was here.. in terrible pain. So that is my update...No funeral arrangements have been made yet.. Gentle hugs to you all.. Stars... I am soooo sorry to hear this sad news, stars! It is good for her to no longer be in pain, although now you have the emotional pain of missing her, but it will get better remembering all the good times and memories you have that you can cherish!
