Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day! I hope all of the wonderful, beautiful, sexy moms here in Blogville are having a great Mother's Day! Mother's Day is always a little bitter sweet for me. Even when I have Lil Bit with me, I never have my other and I always miss her more this day and on her birthday at the end of May than any other time of year. I went to church today and sat surrounded by my favorite family members. My sister and both my nieces were right next to me. My favorite cousin, Jeremy, his wife, their 2 girls and his in-laws were on the pew in front of me. My favorite aunt, Julie and her Candy were there. Friends of our family who babysat us as and now her babysits Lil Bit and both of Jeremy's girls were sitting on the other side of me. Jeremy and Amber were having both girls dedicated at church. I remember doing that with Lil Bit. There was a lot of love there in those 2 pews at church today and I was glad I was there to share. I always cry at church. It makes me miss my mam-maw, my grandma in NY and especially my Great Grandmomma Maggie. It always reminds me to be thankful for the many blessings in my life. Today I cried for all kinds of reasons. I'm the mother of two beautiful girls but I didn't have either of them in my arms today. So many of the women who shaped, molded and helped me become the woman I am today are gone. All around me I saw husbands hugging and holding hands with the mother’s of their . I sat alone. I smiled through the tears and thanked God for my , my family, and my life. Ultimately we are all alone. As mothers we are the only people on the planet lucky enough to have ever experienced what it is to truly share a life. Becoming a mother is the one time when we are not alone. The 9-10 months we spend growing, nurturing our babies and giving birth are truly miraculous. We are never alone in those months and there is nothing like it. No matter how far apart, how many years, miles or obstacles separate us the bond we have with our is unbreakable. I’m so thankful for my , for my family and friends, for all the love in my life. I need to thank my Viking for his love and taking time to sooth my ruffled<b> feathers </font></b>and wounded heart today. Thank you gorgeous man for loving me even when I am unlovable! Thank you to all my friends who sent me Happy Mother’s Day texts and IM’s. I love you all so much. Take a minute today and thank a mom. Take care and love each other well!
