Do you know how to tell....

....if the snow is too deep?

It's too deep when you have to go out in your yard and shovel the snow away from the 5ft chainlink fence so the dogs can't walk up to it and hop over the top rail.

Now that's some deep snow. And they predicted 4inches here....yeah right...dumbasses.

 I feel for you, we got about 2 - 4 inches but Wichita drivers are the worst in snow LOL. "Hell I got 4 Wheel drive............." famous last words LOL

 Humm, never read a post before with a woman complaining about getting more inches than she was promised, but ok...

Maybe THAT is where all ours got to. It blew out your way, leaving us with just an inch.

Having 4wheel drive ain't all it's cracked up to be, I've found my old model heavy built car with front wheel drive gets around better here where I'm at better than the several 4wheel drive vehicles my family memebers own. I've seen several who don't know how to use 4wheel drive correctly do more damage than good. I wish those who are just out goofin off would realise they are just making things worse for those of us who HAVE to be out, they make us not only have to fight mother natures snow and ice but then we also have to fight the ruts and sloppy mess they made.

That's one of my fav songs. I spent the time slow cooking some veggie beef soup. Nothing like homemade soups to warm a person when they get in from being out in the cold.

 Well, this is one lady who likes more, unless we're talking snow or rain, then I hate having more than I was promised. And yup we got all your snow. I stepped off a step in the back yard today and forgot it wasn't the last one, ended up in a snow drift up above my knees...but I wasn't detoured....I was after my snow shovel that had somehow gotten knocked off the porch and was half buried in a snow drift.

I'd show ya some pics if I could but I don't know how to get them to ya. Might try to send some on here to ya. It's times like this that make me thankful for what I got, it might not be alot but it's enough to keep me warm, dry, and thankful to be alive.
