Or not quite... I'm taking the bus there, and the train back. But it's away from home

For those 61 people who read last nights post: sorry for inflicting that upon you. I'm still suffering mixed feelings, but I am officially going to Portland for the weekend of March 29th.

Originally I contemplated driving, but a friend said it took him 3 tanks of gas--which in my car would be just over 2, but about the same as it cost for round trip tickets. I did contemplate<b> meeting friends </font></b>an the way home, but ... actually I just assumed the great price I found on bus/train tickets would beat gas in my car. A gas price website just indicated otherwise... I could have saved $20 by driving. Of course: I also might have gotten lost, or broke down.

What fun things are there to do in Portland? Any "must see's"? Recommendations welcome.
