Burn out

It appears I'm creatively burned out at the moment. Or maybe it's a symptom of being emotionally burned out. Not really sure.

Some know, many don't, that I am a relatively creative person. Always trying new things. I used to draw. I've fairly recently started painting. I sew. I quilt. I know how to crochet and recently learned knitting. I do bead work, wire work, know how to make chain mail (though I haven't yet). Copper enameling, and making glass beads (not sure what that particular technique is called). I've also done weaving, I love dyeing and spinning wool into yarn. Published poet, and occasional non-published writer.

The one thing I totally suck at: paper crafting. I'm no good with journaling or scrapbooking. Or stamping.

I'm also learning to fix my car all by me lonesome (Though I need new tools. Every Philips screwdriver I own is stripped, or whatever you call it when the screwdriver moves but the screw doesn't)

I'm totally stressing out, creativity wise. I know in my head what I want to do but can't get it on paper. And the project I'm working on is actually for somebody (a swap) and I'm already 2 weeks late.

My weekend plans? Stressing. Working on the project. And stressing some more.

Maybe go swimming.

*DEEP BREATH*

I knew I was over my head when I signed up for the swap, but my partner convinced me I'd do fine.

backpocket: That's great advice Sadly I'm already 2 weeks late. And Friday was "last possible day to not get negative feedback" though as soon as I send it the negative will go away and turn to "late".

Maybe I'll just power through, send off not-emotionally-satisfying work... and later when inspiration strikes I'll make more and send as a surprise.
