Doumbek Blues

The drama continues!

So I received "confirmation" a week ago that my drum was delivered. To somebody in Texas. I freaked, contacted the seller... he said "here's your confirmation# (gave me a different number). Looks like everything is fine, it's just not arrived yet".

Well: My blue doumbek arrived yesterday. Except it's green. The guy in Texas got my ice blue one, and I got his green one. LOL.

I'm not quite sure what to do about it yet.

In other news....

*runs around screaming* 4.5 days. The countdown continues.

For those tired of reading the doumbek saga: my apologies. I've really got nothing to write about so... this is it for the moment.

 Is it possible to contact the other person in Texas and you two can exchange through the mail?

Curious about the 4.5 days, is it something you've already written about and I am unaware?
Everyone is on a different plane of intelligence. Some people's plane has not taken off yet!!

I've written about it ... I thought specifically but maybe more alluded to and only those I've specifically told knew what I was talking about? I'd have to reread my own blog to remember lol.

One of my FriendFinder-x friends is coming from another country to visit. Because I'm a cheap traveler (youth hostels, friend's sofas, couch surfing) and just the flavor of "weird" that I am - I couldn't see him spending money for a hotel when I have a perfectly good and comfy sofa (I've slept on it a few times as have a few friends) so I talked him into saving $ and staying here. And I'm in a panic over getting my apartment the way I want it. And then there's the whole "meeting face to face" thing.
