And so did the fat lady Did you know they make extra-large card sleeves and also that they call them Magnums ? I didn't . One time a lady at the sex store was really hard-selling me Magnums , which seems like a weird thing to do . I know how big my dick is lady , piss off . I say this as an avowed cat-lover and dog-hater , but everyone needs to cool it with this "hero cat" video where the cat "saves" the from the dog . Cats are not heroes , I love them but cat are jerks . Huh , I guess I understand now some women like dudes who are jerks . I'm one of those women . Also why did the person filming this not save the ? I can only assume they thought "Mr. Marbles probably has this covered ." Also Mr. Marbles is a great name for a cat so fuck you . If there's one movie out there who's time has come again and needs to be re-made (and there's not) I submit to you that that movie is The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas .  Which I feel we can all agree is the best thing to come out of 1982 by a significant margin . And I know what you're thinking "But 40 , in 1982 didn't the European Court of Human Rights rule that teachers who cane , belt or tase against the wishes of their parents are in breach of the Human Rights Convention ? Isn't that much more important ?" No , not even close . Look around you , look at the people that are 32 or younger . Are you telling me that they wouldn't be better off if they had they been caned , belted or tased in school without their parents permission ? Are you ?! Anyway , casting . Paul F Tompkins as Ed Earl  And no its not just because he has a mustache that rivals that of Bert Reynolds . Well maybe a little . Its because he has that certain synthesis of sophistication and redneckery about his person that you need to believable portray a small town sheriff who gets some "loving" on the side from a . But like a nice you know . Jessica Simpson as Mona Stangley  I'll get a lot of flack for this but hear me out . Its not just because she has a sweet rack that rivals that of Dolly Parton . Well maybe a little . You're saying "Jessica Simpson can't act you monster" but its not like Dolly Parton is freaking Meryl Streep right ? I feel like she's got that certain unnamable quality about her that makes you think - this woman could be a , but you know , a nice . David Morrissey as the Governor  Because , well , you know . In the original they had Kay Parker in an uncredited role as one of the whores . Following that tradition in the remake we'll have Siri in an uncredited role as one of the whores .  The plot will be largely the same only instead of the Texas A & M and University of Texas football players fighting to for the right to have sex with the whores it will the Texas Tech and Webster University (in Saint Louis) chess teams . Also the titular whorehouse will not be forced to close by the Governor but rather will become the base of operations for a secret state government squad of US Marshal Texas Ranger Counter Intelligence Army Ranger Delta Force Snipers who are as sexy as they are danger as they are dangerously sex - and they use their sexiness to get dangerously sexy results . Also there will be dinobots . So there's this TV show called Louie , I've talked about it before . The first season was hilarious and since then its just gotten so bizarre I can't stop watching . Well I could , but , you know . Anyway , the last episode I watched was about a sexy fat girl wanting to get all up on Louie and him rebuffing her because fat people are gross - even to other fat people . The last ten minutes of the show is sexy fatso giving a long and very accurate (in my opinion of course) "rant" about how it sucks to be fat . Its one of those things that seems like its important than life-changing and then you remember its just a TV show and its neither of those things instead . Its worth checking out . Mostly its about being a fat girl but a lot of it is relatable to fatsos of any kind . Anyway anyway I shall now address some specific points that stood out to me . And let me first just say that she is totally hot and I would pound her fat ass all day long . Anyway , the whole thing kicks off with her getting pissed because Louie says "you're not fat" . This resonates with me because that is one of the A #1 things that is guaranteed to drive me absolutely 100% berserk is when someone tells me I'm not fat . And usually its another fat person telling me this lie - if anyone should know better they should . Sidenote it used to really drive me up the wall when people told me I was depressed too . I hate when people try to ascribe feelings to me . Although I don't get that anymore . I wonder why . Maybe I have a more cheerful demeanor more . A bit later she says "Can I just say it ? I'm fat . It sucks to be a fat girl . Can you let me say it without calling the suicide hotline ." Not that I want to encourage more whining in America (because that's what that is) but I can connect with that too . Any time you say anything negative people want to try and fix it/you/whatever . Its annoying . Some things actually just suck and that's the way it is . Not everything/everyone is waiting for you to jump in and save the day . After that she says its Louie's fault (and guys of his ilk) for only paying attention to hot girls and exclaims "how is that fair ?" . This is where you start to lose me . I've talked at length about this - there is no such thing as fair . Adults shouldn't complain about things not being fair - that's childishness . I remember one of my co-workers saying one time "I'm a good person , things like this shouldn't happen to me" . That's not how life works , you are not entitled to shit no matter what you do . People who do nothing but shit on other people their whole lives and be rich and happy and awesome and people who try to do everything right all the time can get jack squat . That's life . There is no fair . Anyway as I said before I think its worth checking out . Final thought - Before laser pointers were available to the consumer market , slot car racing sets is what we used to blow a cat's mind . Start with cats , end with cats , that's the 40Deuce promise . Putting first by putting employees first, immediately after prioritizing fiscal responsibilities and leveraging profitability towards exceeding by empowering our employees to put (and themselves) first, in a diverse and respectful environment of only those that come first, first. |

The fat girl rant was widely bandied about in the inter webs so I did watch it. I agree, she started out strong but got a little too self pitying. The main thing that irritates me is that most women are willing to overlook a little bit of a beer gut or other flaws if the guy has other redeeming qualities, but it doesn't seem to go the other way. Also, the episode kind of took the easy way out by having it be an attractive, moderately overweight woman delivering the rant as opposed to someone who was morbidly obese. But maybe that's the point - obesity is so rampant in this country that most people have redefined "fat" to 100 pounds or more overweight. And are therefore being somewhat sincere when they tell us 50 pounds over people, "You're not fat".

No, I think think it's fine and noble that we women overlook men's physical flaws. The part that irritates me is that the favor is rarely returned.  Having said that, I will admit I'm not entirely noble. I had a correspondence on here with a fellow who was funny, smart and witty. We met in person and I discovered he was super obese (like in the more than 100 pounds over category). I just couldn't muster an attraction. Part of it was that he seemed to have no desire to try to get in better shape. I may be fat, but at least I'm always making some vague kinds of efforts to keep it in check...
