Is IM getting worse?

More often than not it seems someone I'm messaging with doesn't receive some of my posts or I don't get theirs. I'm also getting more and more "join my website" messages.

So frustrating because just getting a good conversation going is an effort.

 You made me think of Lilly Tomlin from "Laugh In", sucking her thumb on that big rocking chair. She always ended her story with, "And that's the TRUTH!"
IM does suck. I'm no tech expert, though.

 I noticed the same thing. I'm new here, but am not liking the IM of the site at all. So laggy. Trying to strike up a conversation seems close to futile.

 It's turned into a piece of crap. Messages don't go through so others think you are ignoring them. I thought it was because I'm just a standard member then I saw your post and you are a Gold member so it seems to be everywhere!

 If u clear your browser before logging on. For me it works i can chat on IM with no issues

Wow, that would be great.

IM is often the first thing I open after logging on. Do you mean clearing temp files or history or what?
