This was in the early days of VCR movies. Most did not yet own an VCR and rented the player with the movies they got from the convenience store. I had been married less than a year. My wife was my first, so my knowledge and experience in things sexual was modest. We had invited a couple of her coworkers and their spouses over for the evening. One couple said they'd bring movies and a player. He was a little on the creepy side. His wife was a knockout blond. Turns out the movie he brought was All American Girls In Heat. Subtle, I know. It was a stereotypical compilation of a yacht full of women recounting their hottest experiences. The first vignette was a hung guy railing a bimbo as she perched on the branch of a tree close to the ground. No build up, just fucking. My wife and the second couple were obviously uncomfortable. After a few minutes, one of them suggested we try the other movie. This one turned out to be a soft porn, and not that funny, comedy. I think back on this evening occasionally. I wonder if the first couple were swingers and were hoping to introduce the concept to the others. This was the first time that I noted my wife not being open to explicit content or practices. It was a sign of things to not come from her. I would rent the occasional blue movie when my wife was going to be away. Once internet porn took off, I had a steady supply available.
