still waiting for spring

I am still waiting for spring to come. I thought it was here in February. I had the motorcycle out in February. then earlier this month I thought maple sap time was here. so I got out and tapped the trees. I got one batch an boiled it down to syrup and after that it froze and I haven't gotten enough sap to boil yet. I am getting low on maple syrup and I need to replenish my supplies for the coming year. I have not used store bought syrup in many years. yuck...I see it used in the chow hall here at<b> camp. </font></b>it comes out like cold molasses, thick and yuck. I can not imagine how bad it is for you.

 Spring has definitely arrived where I live.

it did here yesterday for the first day of spring...but now back to winter for a few days.
I wanted to get the motorcycle out yesterday but the driveway will not allow it. it is frozen underneath but we and like liquid earth on top. not even good to drive a car on...
