Copy of a letter

Gosh, haven't heard from her in a couple of weeks. Always good to exchange a bit of news though. The letter was interesting enough, and told enough of me, lol maybe 'on me', good thing to use as a post. A good Easter.

Heya, your own good self,

I think my Easter day was at least as interesting, but on a far distant and removed plain. Next Easter, I would not have missed or traded this one for all the world, let me join you at that boite.

My maiden Aunt M****, truth, just just can't make up stuff like this, 87or 88 years, developed pneumonia on one side and her blood sugar kind of ran away with the circus. Phone calls back and forth on Friday and Saturday and my and I made the drive out to see her on Sunday. 140 miles each way. I am the only blood withing distance to keep up the rest home visits, so I do so every two or three months. Three sisters, Miss California, Ms.Oklahoma, and Ms. Oregon have a deal set up with the local florist for a once a week delivery, various cards charged on a rotating basis, Property taxes paid, fuel oil for the house bought, by them on the same shared sort of rotation. But I, I am the face.

She ain't doin' so good. But my 15 year old along, the day spent in heavy metal (Saints preserve! I kind of like ICP and of Bodom. And for an opera singer!!!!!! The strrrretch is interesting. Bodom is GOOD though.), changing tires for modern people who can't for themselves (a hobby), flowers found at Wal-Mart(only thing open) purchased not only for M**** but two others who are not getting visits Easter, sit with M****, sit with and try to talk with M****, in and out of awareness, blood sats low, wiping chins with wet wipes, foreheads with cool towels........ Yeah, I gotta do it, the only one within a drive, but I am the lucky one, the only one within a drive.

I wouldn't trade with you. I've got the better deal. But next year, can I come with you? " inside the French toast, was peanut butter, banana slices, bacon and cheese, all in a french toast sandwich. " You have GOT to be kidding! lol Former brother -in-law Nate and I used to make similar things to take skiing with us. Our version was on an English muffin,,,,, fried egg, bacon, cheese, peanut butter, preserves,,,, two or three apiece, one in each pocket and one to hold while driving, togo coffee at the local diner (They had no 'boites' dans Vermont 35 ans ago.) (Don't EVER sit on one of those suckers though, throw away the jeans!)

I envy you your work. Everything is slow here.

Love ya,

Dean

Everything is thawing, Dean; everything is starting to move, faster and faster like the melting ice rushing into rivulets, inlets, lakes, rivers, and out to the seas and oceans...shaking off the sleepiness of winter, the cold, the frozen forevers as everything warms up in readiness for another season, a new lease on life.
