Remember the Blings on profiles ? Want it back ? Hello all, Happy Wed to you all.Remember back a few years when members could decorate their profiles ? I was very impressed with the artistic way the members made their profiles "pop" and stand out. I know for quite sometime now members have been asking if they can have their colours and blings put back on their profile page. I am trying to share/show some examples of the creativity of the members to management so if any of you took a screen shot of your own profile before all the bling vanished could you share it with me or share it here..whatever is the easiest for you. Good luck. Thank you hon. I really think the profiles looked so unique and showed off the members personality and creativity. Thank you Comanchera69, That is exactly what I was asking about !! Here and in our FriendFinder-x group also. So far no one seems to have taken screen shots of their "decorated" profiles..I will just have to use my descriptive style to get my point across. I will keep this post open and my inbox in the hopes someone might see this and have indeed taken a screenshot of their profile before the colours/blings were taken away. Hell I'd be satisfied to be able to have a different color background...so that folks could read my profile...because I use turquoise as my text color...doesn't read very well on a white background...and I've been afraid to try to change it...until we get to see our profiles as others "see them" it's a moot point.

Hello Comanchera69, Happy Weekend and thank you for your further comments. Actually members were informed that the backround on profiles would be taken away. I thought perhaps some of the members might have saved a memento of their creativity. It is always good to have examples to show to management. I will mention your comment about the webcam page. I have heard from others discussing that topic. I have a great example from one members current profile that I can use to show how unique and creative our members can be. Hello my friend. Thank you for stopping by/commenting. I have heard you and other members mention the " how others see our profiles. " Do you mean like Fb does when you click on it ? I am going out on a limb but I think they see our profile as we do..Unless they are blocked and then they'd see a page that says " You do not have permission to view this profile. " I knew how members felt about their profiles and all the backround being taken down..so I kept mentioning this and brought it up again. Themes might also be considered. Have you thought of asking a friend to take a screen shot of your profile and send it to you so you can see it as we do ? I'd be happy to help if you'd like me to. Hello Comanchera69, Yes members were told the profile artwork/wallpaper/backround was going to vanish from the site in order for A F F to fall in line with our sister sites. No one liked the idea very much and I am happy to see that Andrew is open to discussing the return of the decorated profiles. He is after all the man who created this site and the Bling that folks love to use. As an artist/writer I save all my work and yes do take screen shots of what I do. I thought after all the hard work the members did, they might want to take a screen shot of their efforts before it vanished from the site. I understand your frustration with site changes and features. The site is working day/night to fix glitches and answer members questions/complaints. A good friend said to me even with Andrew back at the helm ( thank goodness for that ) it is going to take time to fix things properly. I thought a good start would be showing examples of what our talented members can do when given a chance. I hope you will give the site a chance to fix itself and become the number 1 dating site again. I didn't use blings to decorate my profile, but I did use colors in the background to enhance it. It would be nice to get that back.

Impi, Baby, I sure do know where you stand. I have been fighting for this for yrs since it was taken away. I knew what it meant to my friends and members who worked so hard to create the way cool profile " look " with colours or bling. I won't give up. We have NEVER seen our profiles as others "see" them...never EVER...never had the option even...Ryan validated that a long ass time ago...I've been bringing it up since the Live Group started...and before that on the SSB when IT started...please DO take a screen shot of my profile for me and send it to me...and I'll reply with one (of my profile) to you and you will see for yourself what I'm talking about... I remember your profile both decorated with colours and now the standard white backround. I am always visiting your profile and forever " borrowing " your amazing bling. ( which you know I love.
