Funny you picked that day. I remember looking out my door. The sky was so blue. A few puffy clouds and silence. No planes, no birds. Just a slight crisp breeze.

storms appeal to me, big weather as my grampa called it. my mama was birthed in big weather and I wonder if it's carried in the body somehow.

I know a lot of people who love thunderstorms. I don't like being scared or startled. When they are off in the distance and the thunder is low and deep, I find it comforting, maybe because I feel a sense of safety in the distance.
