The world didn't end again, and other oddities from 2011.....
In case you missed it, the back up date for the end of the world has also expired and us heathens are still here. While the world didn't end, we did see in the Phila area an earthquake, hurricane and snow in October. And some would still say the Phillies not making the world series is the oddest event of all.

so....what do you think has been the most surprising story so far this year...

Good candidates, but the most important shocking news story was.....

 It was the earthquake for me.. seen snow in October and hurricanes before, revolutions over the oceans in places I'll never go don't do much for me, Kardashian who? Although the tsunami ranks a close second.
