General Adult FriendFinder Contest Rules These rules govern all contests offered by FriendFinder-x. By submitting an entry, you agree to all these General Contest Rules. Each specific contest may have additional rules. 1. FriendFinder-x members, standard or premium, may participate in any contest. No purchase is necessary. Employees (and their immediate family members), agents and contractors, e.g. affiliates, advertising vendors, of Various, Inc., including, its subsidiaries, its parent company, PMGI, Inc. and its affiliated entities (hereinafter "Various") are not eligible to participate. 2. Entries must be made as required in the contest's announcement, e.g. blog, email, message center. Unless otherwise stated, each entry must include the following information: your name and handle. Additional information may be required. 3. To enter any contest and/or to win a prize, you must be a current member of FriendFinder-x in good standing, standard or premium. Your participation in any contest remain subject to FriendFinder-x Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. 4. Some contests allow multiple entries, others do not. All entries must be received by the contest deadline, which will be stated in the specific contest. FriendFinder-x is not responsible for entries that it does not receive for any reason, including technical malfunctions. Some contests may require that content be uploaded to a website. 5. By entering any contest, you represent and warrant that you own (or have licensed) all intellectual property rights associated with the entry. As an example, if you enter a video blog contest, you many not include copyrighted or commercial content. All contest entries become the property of Various. We do not return content. 6. Only one prize will be awarded per person, couple or household. If a member receives a prize, he, she or they are not eligible to win another prize for 90 days unless otherwise noted in the specific contest. Prizes cannot be split between multiple participants or transferred to another person. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and all taxes, if any, on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. Winners may be required to sign affidavits of eligibility and provide proof thereof. In case eligibility cannot be verified, the prize will be awarded to the next runner-up. Winners assume all liability in connection with their participation in any contest, and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize and will indemnify and hold Various harmless. All federal state and local laws apply. Void where prohibited. 7. Members who win membership upgrades may substitute another premium site feature, e.g. Standard Contacts, Highlights, Private Chatrooms. The feature duration will be equal to that of the original prize won. No other substitutions are allowed. Member must send an email to an address provided in the contest announcement Various to request an update. 8. Unless otherwise noted in the specific contest's rules, winners will be determined at the sole discretion of Various and all results are final and binding. Winners will be notified by email and agree to allow FriendFinder-x to announce the results on FriendFinder-x's public forums and/or email announcements. Various also reserves the right to publicize the name of the winner, who may be required to sign a release (of publicity rights) in order to claim the prize. If a release is required, the specific contest's rules will indicate. 9. Various reserves the right to change rules and prizes without notification. 10. We do not require you to submit nude photos or videos in order to participate in a contest. 11. Unfortunately, we are unable to translate our contests into any other language.
