Guess I'm just old school afterall
Wanna know what makes me feel out of date, my taste in music !!!

But do I really care, naw.

Don't get me wrong I love alot of the new stuff out there too it's very creative and interesting, but you know what I miss the music that just makes you wanna dance, music that isn't talking politics or pain !!!!

A blog I read awhile back has come to mind as I write this, this is for you Dasher, I miss your stories dude. I'm coming out ta the closet.

I love Star Wars too!!! Hans makes me hot

Yes I said disco, it was uncool back then and still is but I can't help myself I just love it.

I can remember dancing and roller skating to it !! no not roller blading but skating with four wheels on each foot , I can believe how they do it these days it just amazes me.
Hum maybe I should start roller skating again I was in great shape back then. Could you imagine that seeing an old fart using old roller skates listening and singing out old disco on her ipod Id laugh myself !!!!

Anyways.....

I can be so down in the dumps and then I hear it and I end up wanting to dance and sing along. It seems to always cheer me up.
I was reunited with my old love this past christmas.
My got a free membership to what is actually a sucky music download site well, it is to him, but I'm enjoying the heck out ta myself, its loaded with all kinds of old people music specially disco !!!

Tons of KC and the Sunshine band my favorite from back then. They have some good old rock n roll too Like Styxs and CCR.

How can you not smile when you hear the lyrics and feel the beat of it. Songs like "Keep it coming love", "Get Down Tonight" or Please Don't go !!!
If you haven't given it a try or haven't heard any in years like me, I say go give it a second try or reunite yourself with it, I am sure it will put a smile on your face for at least a few

I always wear braces with a suit at work. It's a personal trademark as I don't wear jewellery. I guess it's sooooo eighties, but I don't much care ........ personal style is a personal thing.

 Disco, did you say disco, here i sit on Limewire downloading 80's songs for the ipod when I stumble across your blog. Love it still do and I wish it would come back into era....shame the age wont go back to that era too..lol

 I love disco more for the memories than the music. Still, I do play it here from time to time, and shake my bootie quite vigorously to the beat.

I always laugh when I hear the Bee Jees do some song with the lyrics: "Walk like a man, talk like a man" in an octave that I would need I swift kick in the disco balls to hit. I seem to see some sort of an irony in that.. (At least I think it's the bee Jees.)

Funny thing is? My kid wants a disco ball for his room. Maybe to dance to his Techno?
