Meet my other furry - Penny

We got Penny in 2006 when I estimate she was a month old. She is 7 (8 later this year). She was definitely too young to be taken away from her mom, she didn't even have many teeth. We tried to give her dry food and she couldn't chew so we got her canned food. The people who had her and the mom plus apparently her brothers and sisters were sick fucks. They were going to drown her. Plus I found out later they'd already done it to a few of her siblings and she was next. Ugh if I'd have known that back then I'd have bitched them out so bad. They'd have heard words and suggestions of violence that would surprise even the most evil person. I wouldn't actually do anything to them beyond turning them into the cops cause I didn't need to go to jail. But it just disgusts me and makes me want to do fucking horrible things to them. My dad even told them they were sick bastards and dad didn't even like cats. (Though Baby and Penny grew on him)

Penny is also named after a lyric in a Hanson song. She is very quiet. She can have a bitchy side but you really have to provoke her. She's sweet and pretty easygoing. When we got her she was so tiny and now she's a fat cat. The heaviest she was was 17 pounds. We put her on a diet last year and split up the feed bowls so each cat gets her own. She has lost at least 2 pounds cause she's a bit lighter when I pick her up. She just loves to eat and it's so heartbreaking when she stands there and meows at you with this cute little meow. She's usually not talkative like Baby but she begs for food. She makes you feel like you're starving her but she gets fed twice a day and I usually mix it up with canned about 2-3 times a week. I hope this works cause I don't want her developing asthma or diabetes or any other problems due to being overweight.

Everything I've read has said to help her exercise but the problem is she doesn't want to play. She's very lazy. I'm hoping by limiting her food and after losing maybe 2 more pounds or so she'll have more energy to want to run around. Baby is the one that plays and is frisky. Penny is just like "leave me alone". When she was a kitten she'd play. It's amazing to look how little she was and that this is the same cat.

She is more mom's cat, sleeps on mom's bed. But she'll come to me and will tolerate me holding, hugging, and petting her. She's so cute, she'll squeak. I call her Squeakers sometimes.

Unfortunately she is an expensive kitty. She has a problem with her butt that is common in dogs. Something about the muscles being not in the right spot and it causes infections about twice a year. She'll start leaking and smell. So when that happens we have to buy her medicine which it's only like $15 so it could be worse and also wipe her butt to keep her clean. You really have to love your cat to do such things for them. Plus since this is ongoing the vet doesn't ask to see her every time, just gets us the medicine, so that saves in vet bills.

He said it's not fatal, she won't die from it but to fix it for good she'd have to go to Pittsburgh for a surgery that would cost $1200. I love her but I don't have that kind of money so we just make sure she gets the medicine. She hates taking it, she fights us. Mom has to hold her down while I force her mouth open and shoot the medicine in. The vet showed me a trick to get the mouth open without it hurting her. We tried a pill and yeah she'd keep spitting it out, so while liquid is a bit messy she gets it in faster.

She also is a little kooky. She will drink from the facet but she'll also drink from her bowl. She developed this habit of laying in the bathroom sink. She fills the whole sink now cause of how big she is.

Thankfully unlike Baby, we did get to Penny in time that she wasn't abused. All she's known is a happy life with people who love her.

In pic 1st and 3rd on top are 2014, middle top is 2013, bottom right is before she gained weight 2007, 1st 3 bottom are when she was a kitten 2006

I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, it returned in a hurry. I asked why, it said "Angels can't watch porn." Thanks for fucking traumatizing my fucking Angel!

Don't bother trying to figure me out. Not even the little voices in my head understand me. It's pointless!

    Quoting :

I've never had a pet die, we always ended up giving them away for one reason or another. Gonna be a shock since we have 2 cats and I refuse to ever give them up.
