6 more pounds down! (28 total)

It's been 5 weeks since I last weighed myself and 6 more pounds down! That's a total of 28 pounds weight loss so far!

I really wasn't expecting it cause I've slacked a bit on exercise, only doing 4 to 5 days of exercise a week instead of 5 to 6. But still eating healthier.

So where I left off

Aug 23 yes and no - bedroom fun plus about a half hr of walking, 24 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 25 no, 26 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 27 no, 28 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights plus bowling, 29 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 30 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 31 no came home from work and passed out

Sep 1 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 2 no, 3 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 4 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 5 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 6 no, 7 yes 40 min zumba video AND 20 min rush zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 8 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 9 no, 10 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 11 no, 12 came home and ended up passing out , 13 yes one hr zumba video and tried 10 min of a different zumba video but too hard for me yet - felt like I wasn't getting a workout - with 2 lb wrist weights, 14 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 15 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 16 no, 17 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights, 18 no sick, 19 no sick, 20 no sick- passed out way early, 21 yes did the 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights TWICE, 22 yes 40 min zumba video with 2 lb wrist weights - didn't give it my all but tried (still sick can't breathe when cardio is intense), 23 yes 20 min Jillian 30 day shred video - did sweat a little but feel like I didn't get as good of workout cause can't do floor exercises right cause back hurts on floor, 24 no, 25 no, 26 no came home from work and passed out, 27 yes an hr and 40 min walk including a couple steep hills

But it seems that zumba and those wrist weights have increased my weight loss by a bit more than when I was just walking. I was averaging about a pound a week with walking, maybe a tiny less and with zumba and the wrist weights I'm averaging slightly over a pound a week and that's even with slacking a bit on the exercise.

I watch Biggest Loser and when I saw the first episode of this season how some of them lost in one week what it took me this long to lose, it's like grr. But they also exercise probably like 8 hours a day and are monitored by doctors constantly. I do nowhere near that a day. Plus my skin needs a chance to tighten as I go, and losing huge amounts quickly is not the way to go for me.

I am now at 252, started at 280, need to lose 29 more pounds to get down to my weight before the shot, so I'm like halfway there. I gained about 57 pounds on the shot in 4.5 years. So the last time I weighed this was about 2 or 2.5 years ago. When you look at it like that it's pretty awesome.

Well until next time, which will probably be beginning of November for an update, keep going those of you who are on this journey too! Keep a list of why you want to lose weight, that's what I do. When I feel like not doing it at all and stopping or going back on the shot cause having a period sucks and worrying about safe sex (pregnancy-wise) I remind myself all the reasons why I need to just keep going and put up with it.

I sent an Angel to watch over you last night, it returned in a hurry. I asked why, it said "Angels can't watch porn." Thanks for fucking traumatizing my fucking Angel!

Don't bother trying to figure me out. Not even the little voices in my head understand me. It's pointless!

Congratulations! I'm impressed that you are able to keep track of all of that exercise. Great job!

2022... it HAS be better, right?!

I like the statement made by a world class runner on working out: "Habits eat good intentions for breakfast."

Glad to see you're keeping at it and having success, congrats.

It's very overwhelming when I think how much I have to go, but I try to just take it in increments and remind myself of little things that make me keep going.

Good for you! I've been trying, its a mixture of diet and exercise, I just do free weights and stuff, a bit of walking as well. So far I'm down 17 lbs, not too bad, I really notice it in my face.....your face BTW is absolutely beautiful!
