Caught under the influence

After I joined this place for the first time 10 years ago, I stayed on and off for a couple of years and then left it all alone. That was until about 10 days ago, when I decided to come back. I like the blogs here, as you can guess, so, inevitably, sometimes I spend time reading some of my own blog, all that was going on at the time in my life and inside my head, comments views and opinions of my friends or other bloggers and all the rest. Generally speaking, what I read is not bad, even if I say so myself. But every now and then, Oh what horror, I come across some post or comment, something I did or said, definitely not under the right frame of mind. I may have made a big thing about nothing, or been insensitive to someone, made the wrong comment, not used the best of words to express myself, been a pest, been wrong ( Yeap, I can even do that ! ) or misunderstood. Whatever. Anything and everything can happen in the blogosphere. I will admit some posts and comments may have been written while I was a bit erm... drunk ! Or a bit more than that. Hic! You know, those times you come back from a night out, having had a few drinks, you think to yourself, I will do a quick round of the blogs before bed. At some point, even my profile was hijacked for a day or two. Anyway, back to the posts and comments. My first thought was, oh well I may delete this, hide that, and carry out a general reorganizing of this 'room'. Soon after, I decided against it. The idea been, what is here already, stays untouched, as it was part of me at the time and still is now, as part of my past. To me this blog was always ''What you see is what you get'', wart's and all ! The good the bad and the ugly. And it stays the same. I have more than one question, so here is another poll. Please tell me, or just vote anonymously, have you ever posted something, a blog or a comment, that you regretted after a few weeks, months or even years ? Have you ever deleted or hidden one of your posts or comments after weeks, months, or years ? And last but not least do you blog drunk ?

 I'll be the first to admit that it probably would have been easier to just
lie about how certain things have affected me.I have never attacked or treated anyone with disrespect in anything I have ever written.Never had any desire to candy coat anything nor to be the one to only say what I think they want to hear.
Maybe I should start now!

I have not attacked any either s2nde, or been nasty. I was thinking more of non sensible kind of posts and comments, nothing realy harmful. I take it you also do not blog drunk. Damn, am I the only sinner on this ?
