Why being called Gay is considered such a dirty word.

Just recently I read that the singer Lois Tomlinson from the one direction was ranting and swearing at a journalist from the Independant newspaper for wearing a T shirt that was considered Gay( the Apple slogan in rainbow colours) he was swearing, ranting and saying that he was not Fu**ing Gay (making out that being called Gay was so negative).
This led to the Editor of the newspaper receiving death threats from One direction fans.
I ve just been to the pictures to see the film 'The imitation Game' about the Enigma code breaker Alan Turing which is very good, he was outed as Homosexual which was then considered a criminal offence, also he has just recently been pardoned by the Queen in 2013. This man saved over 14 million lives by breaking the enigma code and he committed suicide at 41 for being prosecuted for being Homosexual.

Why in the 21st century is being Gay considered inferior and offensive still. and if the one direction fans want to threaten me so be it, I will always stand up for Gay rights.

 Funny (not really) y'all should say: Where I live, it's OK 4 a married guy 2 b BI & cheat on his wife by having sex with a guy, but it's NOT OK 2 b GAY!!! Duh??? A guy having sex with another guy is GAY SEX whether he calls himself BI or GAY!
