Sunday musings

It's been a while since either of us did a blog, guess one could call it bloggers block. Another week gone by and another week closer to Christmas. A lot of the shopping has been done with Titania doing most of that on line.

Last weekend, somehow managed to burn out the power supply on the computer. These things happen. Replaced that only to find out the wireless router also had decided to make a sudden departure. After purchasing a new router and working several hours to get it installed (two hours on the phone with technical support) I gave up and returned it and got yet another one. The second one would have installed in minutes had it not been for the fact that my wireless keyboard batteries chose that critical moment to die as well. Can't really complain about it as those two AA batteries had not been replaced in 4 years. But, alas, I'm up and running again. All is well.

Titania decided to have the grand over yesterday and bake some sugar cookies and do some craft things for Christmas with them. The two of them, 8 and 4, were a handful to say the least. Sugar cookies were made and turned out delicious. Managed to make a few tree ornaments and snow globes as well. She'll have to finish up the homemade bubble bath and bath salts on her own and take them to them when we see them again. That will be in a couple of weeks when we all go to see a live performance of "A Christmas Carol" at the Performing Arts Center. That should be fun.

While I've got the outside lights up and finished, I've been procrastinating getting the Christmas tree up this year. Have to rearrange the furniture and clean the carpet first. Wanted to get that done today, but may wait until next weekend. We'll see if and when the mood strikes.

OU beat Missouri for the Big 12 championship last night. GO SOONERS. Now it's a wait and see if they get to play for the national championship and who they will play. Could be Florida, but who knows with the BCS.

I just read one blog where he was musing about what was under his bed. Having had the grand over yesterday, I had to laugh. Of our two cats, one is sociable and one will run and hide when we have company over. The little tykes decided they would find him and went looking under our bed. Fortunately, they were either too fixated on finding the cat or just didn't notice the tie downs still attached and there for use when we decide to use them. Or at least they made no comments about them. Whewwww......would hate to have to explain that to my , LOL. Whats hidden under your bed?

Well, enough for today. Time to seriously think about moving furniture.

What is hidden under our bed? Well let's see. Oh yeah a ton of dust and enough dog hair to fill a pillow. Some kitten toys and a wandering lost sock of Joe's. That is about it.
