Fakes, Photos, Magic and Bikinis
Fakes, Photos, Magic and Bikinis It's rant time here in "ChickLand"! Lately there seems to have been a rash of impostors and fakes. And it's not just on FriendFinder-x and it's not just me..... my girlfriends have been noticing it too. Seems we have all had less then positive on-line dating experiences in the last two weeks. We were discussing it over Anti-Oxidant Martini's the other night and I decided share some of the highlights: Honesty is the best policy. Be who you say you are! And to that extend I occurred to me that my profile photo is almost a year old and I've put on at least 5 lbs since I took that picture. (trying hard to loose it though) So I thought I'd practice what I preach and take a new photo. I thought it would be interesting to pose in the same bathing suit and in the same body position. I thought it might motivate me to loose those 5 lbs. So the picture with this post was taken yesterday afternoon. The picture on the previous post was taken last July. Now I'm thinking I need to loose 10 lbs. I'm off to the gym. Have a great day! Chick |

Chick, I don't care what photo you put up, your still the hottest looking one on this site to me, most women can only dream to have a body as beautiful as yours Angelus

There are many more issues with female profiles here, but the issues tend to be different. The totally fake/live in Ghana profiles; the cam girls; the hooker come ons; and the agorophobes with no intention of ever meeting anyone. I haven't had too many instances of pictures not looking like the person, but I usually request a few pics before a meet as a way of ensuring that.

Do you happen to know where I can find an intelligent, funny, sexy, passionate and honest woman?.....One who could also be a bit of a smart-ass...in a good way? What I wouldn't give.....few and far between these days....

Like the rest of us - I don't see any difference in the your pic! When was the last time you hit the slopes???? For the record, I'm heading to the gym, first time in about 3 weeks. Haven't been motivated lately, but you did it for me, today anyway. TJ

Well, since a girl I trust on such matters recently advised me not to try telling a girl she doesn't have to lose any thing, and just tell her she is beautiful and sexy as hell; I just want to say that is one lucky bathing suit. I'd sure like to be as close to you as it is. I would NEVER have noticed the difference in those pics.

Hello beautiful. If I strain my eyes I can just about make out the signs of those extra pounds, but you still look great. In fact I think if you look carefully you will see that the slightly different lighting in the second picture is making more difference than the slightly different skierchick! You are without question one of the sexiest women I have ever known both in body and mind. I think the "honesty is the best policy" rule should extend to the blogs as well. I often notice little discrepancies in either style or content which tells me the writer is either portraying an unrealistic version of themselves, or possibly isn't even the real writer. Sometimes people re-post a long funny story, purporting to be about themselves, but which I have read more than once verbatim on other blogs. But they never say "oh well actually I didn't write this, it was...whoever," or "I got it from the internet." I find that very disappointing! I used to read a blog by a very sexy writer and we got some email exchanges going. It became abundantly clear from the style and language that the emailer and the writer were not the same person, and yet she clearly didn't realize that I would be able to tell! She also had a very sexy picture up on one post. I wrote: "Is that picture really you - you look fantastic" or something like that, to which she replied "all my pictures are me." But by pure chance someone I know I happened to see the very same picture in an on-line lingerie catalogue and told me the link to check out! (Okay maybe she was the model.....but no, probably not! ) I guess if you are planning to meet someone this is a real bummer when you find out face to face. But I reckon be safe and don't meet till you know him well enough to be sure.

Yes. People (men AND woman) posing as something that they are not, no longer are or never have been. An unfortunate reality of the 'net and sites like this. However, there are a few who are genuine (rare) and that makes it all worth it and enjoyable. Here's to being real.

Kudos for fighting for Truth... but FriendFinder-x might just be a tough one for that. I look at it as amusement. The blonde/ brunettes, the very active couch potatoes, the married singles, the trans-net-ites, the almost meetings... *sigh* Sometimes you just have to laugh.

Whoopsie, I'm a bit guilty of bullet #5 In my mind, I am still awesome road warrior bicyclist woman, even though I've lost motivation the past couple years...and besides, I would sound so boring if I said "I like to sit on the couch with my laptop and read blogs" Like everyone else says, you look great.

I agree, there are so many fakes. I dont know how many men on this site or other dating sites as well are fakes but I can say that the females on these sites are becoming more and more fake by the minute and I get so frustrated. So many fakes, spammers trying to tell me their emails is at the place thats hot, please nobody uses that email anymore lol. U have no idea, I am beginning to think they are all fakes because those are the only ones who seem to reply. As for the updating of the pics, I have met many females over the years that do the same thing, and when I meet them they look nothing like their photo and have gained alot more than 5 or ten lbs. So much so that u dont even recongnize them. Frustrated in Va Beach...

Chick I dont see where you put the five pounds. To me you still look as amazing as ever. Im guessing you could put on 30 pounds and still be beautiful and sexy as ever. If you ask me you need to update your profile and stop pretending you are twenty years older than you really are. Cuz I see your pics, I know ur 20 something

it seems to me that we can spend a lot of time trying to get to know someone online and then when we meet them they are not who we think they are. maybe we need to just meet faster so as not to waste our time but then we wouldnt have half of our fantasies lol. i do agree with your observations and i dont think its just about pictures.even after meeting people and getting to know them better they still change thier personalities sometimes.ive met women who seem great for the first couple weeks then they turn into psychos lol. i guess its just part of the dating thing.use caution and dont give out too much information too fast. good luck with your search. also your body looks great but i dont see your face! steve
