So, my water drinking, water using friends.........
The first 2 Irish Water bills have now been sent out and the water conservation grant is now in the news BUT it now seems that it's being tied in with up to date payment of the bills which is a new twist in the tale - so my question of the days is this ;

Will you pay the water bill to get the water grant ??

1) - Yes of course - I believe in paying for water ...it's not free and you can't get something for nothing

2) - I'm in 2 minds about it - not happy about paying for it BUT I won't say no to the grant...I suppose it's another bill we have to pay

3) - Are you for f*cking real ???? - I'd rather drink my own piss or bathwater than pay another bill to the state....we all know that purification of water is free and that it's a capitalist lie to say that supplying water costs money...lets have another march and imprison ministers in their cars or homes and all live in la la land happily ever after, getting everything for free...as long as I have enough for 20 smokes and 6 dutch gold I'm happy - tax the wealthy (Yes guilty as charged I'm being cynical now)

I must be fair here and say that I've paid my bills...

So..up to you now

Is,of course,the correct answer...I'm not highlighting the genuine people or families who can't pay...far from it...more the socialist communist banality of "tax the wealthy" or " burn the bondholders" to pay for us regardless of our efforts or lack thereof to pay our way

 Paid mine too....I do understand that we need to pay for water and the upkeep of the systems that bring it to us...it may also encourage people to be a little less wasteful of this precious resource we take for granted.
