From KC_JJ : While I appreciate both the collection of info and the general sentiment concerning Princess Karma I can't help but be struck by the impression that the whole way this thing is displayed here is more like a whole lot of free advertising and promotion for the words of Voldemort. I'm all for Princess Karma and but this posting only seems to be doing what Voldemort probably hopes for the most. To have a lot of people read what I'm nearly certain he sees as some hilariously funny posts. I don't get it. It's sort of like you're advertising and promoting exactly what you claim to be wanting to stop. I think that giving it this type of attention like this is more like adding fuel to the fire than anything else. That's the only way I can see it unless I'm missing something. Although this does seem to nearly be textbook case of how the press quite frequently exacerbates problems in the way that it reports on them. The best classic example I can think of is how the press single handedly created the nationwide glue sniffing trend of the late 50's. Google on - Licit Illicit Nationwide Drug Menace - for that distraction. The same phenomenon always seems to occur without fail when the press idiotically chooses to report on the dangers of datura or jimson weed. It guarantees that some curious high school kids are going to go out and try it and end up in the local ER for the evening: Improper reporting functioning as advertising and promotion for that which is being warned against. I did have a premonition about this whole situation with PK too and I warned her about the approach she was taking with her Knuckledraggers weekly. It too functioned in a way that I feel more served to exacerbate the situation than really help. And similarly I was with her on the intent of her doing that but means and methods I felt certain would lead to even deeper difficulties. We all collectively create this thing called physical reality here. And even though it's convenient to often see it as such none of us are ever really victims here. Except maybe of being a bit ignorant of the fact that each and every one of us put ourselves exactly where we now are. The problem with these sorts of attempts to fix so called "problems" is that people have concentrated so heavily on what they don't want that those ideas have superceded the vision of what they do want. And all that thought put into what isn't wanted has served to cause is a full blown self-fulfilling prophecy. That is power that our thoughts, as the creator, possess. So the real crux of this is get our collective minds someplace that we do want to be and to keep it focused there. For that is just as easy of a self-fulfilling prophecy to achieve if our minds can only get fixed on that rather than on what we don't want. I'm not certain how to spell out how we might all do that either but this is the essential message that I gave to PK before the shit really hit the fan for her. Usually concentrating so intently on the crap actually serves to produce even more of it! So as just a simple suggestion I'll say "stop focusing so much on the crap!" And this is not at all about the idea that ignoring your problems makes them go away. It's about the idea that through your approach to things you are breathing further life into the crap you wish would go away. KC_JJ
