Monday brings sadness...

Yes indeed...this Monday I discovered that two of my favorite bloggers are packing it in. One already has...left her bye bye note as her last blog, the other is on her way to departing...Sigh....

I suppose its the nature of this site. There are some awesome people on here but there are more (it seems) of the unawesome nature that eventually drive the good ones away. Too bad really as this is a site of true emotions and real feelings. But these often get mixed up in a less than positive way and the result...people leave. Sad.

I have been there myself. I have come back twice now but have a very short tolerance level. So I understand completely when people get turned off and leave. The sad thing is they never or rarely come back. Contact is broken, the safety of semi-anonymity is gone and that's that. Too bad we can't establish a secret blogger site where people can go and continue to see and read the creations of others. Only respectable people allowed. Sigh...

Its HOT!!! and muggy in the city these past few days. It is a bit oppressive but also has its perks. Went for lunch on the street today (several carts set up on a major downtown street and you can get just about any kind of food there.) The joy of this is the wonderful women who stroll by in short dress etc. Nice beautiful legs clad in sandels and high heeled shoes...with pretty faces and smiley smiles...ahhhh...summertime in the city!!! Excellent.

Which brings me to today's lingerie shot:

Truly magnificent...in my opinion...oh to be a cameraman in a lingerie store...sigh.

I was away for a month, and when I got back, the 1st thing I noticed is that Addz is gone . She was always such a bright light here.

I know it's purely selfishness on my part, but I hate having to go through withdrawal when one of my favourite bloggers packs it in, for greener pastures.

That's why I'm glad to see you back, and posting your delicious photos. I have no idea where you find such beautiful images - but they are definitely a form of high art.

Check out my profile or and become a "watcher" of my blog FMAOPLS,to learn more about me, and for intelligent, lively, smartassy and fun discussion, with a little irreverence thrown in. "Like" or comment on my photos, and I promise I'll add more. Thanks.

I hear you, Quixy. I too am torn when one of my favourites decides it's time to leave. Sad for me, but HAPPY for them. Happy for them because they've either found what they needed, or were brave enough to move on and or try a different tactic or site. Either way, I am happy that they are not settling for same old, same old, but are willing to change or adapt so that they can fulfill all their needs, wants and desires. Great post!
I don't think this place tends to drive away anyone as opposed to the fact that they 'grow' or grow out of this place. I can't speak for every blogger, or those who frequent the chatrooms, however I have never had a female be rude to me on this site in either my blog or in a chatroom. I also have not experienced any negative e-mails from any females. Or couples for that matter on all of the above.

I've had some 'kooks' from foreign countries send me some gibberish though. I usually ignore them or on occasion, ban them and it takes care of itself as those ones don't tend to stay on site very long.

I think it is less likely for men to get offensive stuff than women. The women I know who have left often cite the crap they receive from men as their root reason for departure.

Thanks. I always appreciate your wisdom. I agree that its usually a good thing for the person involved, but can't help but think that this place tends to drive away the good ones more often than the bad ones...
