My mother

I am real worried about my mother got a call from Aunt about my mother. I managed to talk to my mother finally on the phone. At least I feel a little better with talking with her despite my my sister's interference in communicating with here. She is not in a nursing home at present now. But have been told she has been sick. So real worried here.

 Something similar happened with a grandmother of mine. An aunt controlled her care and pretty much kept all the other sisters, including my mother, at arm's length. When my grandmother died, none of the other daughters got to say goodbye to her and there were feelings that my aunt hadn't done everything she could to see to it that my grandmother was receiving the best of care. It was a very messy situation.

Hello, yes I know how it feels here too but what I can do cannot visit my mother at my sister's place because she does not like critism plus do not feel comfortable enough to be in her house. So I have to stay away just to protect myself. Sounds like it was a messy situation with your grandmother. That is how I feel at the moment. Of course my sister did not think I was taking care of her properly when I had her. I was doing the best that I could there under the circumstances. Thanks for posting.

 Hope your Mom is OK. Sometimes relatives are more of a pain then helpful in cases like this.If your sister is anything like mine,
