The Expectations

I think everyone has expectations of someone or something. It can be anything here like a first meet or a date. Sometimes you put high expectations on the person especially when you first meet. I think it is better not too high until you give someone a chance first. You should at least chat with them a bit before making a decision. I know have expectations like anyone else. Of course if something is not what you expected you can say politely thanks but no thanks then just leave. But do not let the other person know just be nice and polite about it. So what you think of expectations? How do you set your expectations on a person or object? Just curious.

 Hi roxy, I assume that you are speaking of expectations related to this site...right! In that case how could one place expectations on anyone they have not met in person? It would be unfair to both people involved. I think one should not/cannot expect anything other than casual friendship until a strong relationship is formed. Then, you can talk about the "possibility" of expectations. It really puts a lot of strain on any relationship unless both parties agree to participate in certain expectations. Hey, keep it light for a while and see what lies down the road. Thanks for allowing me to voice my opinion..

Hello Chance, yes it could be from this site and other venues here. I agree it would be unfair to put expectations on someone before you have not met. Especially a relationship is formed then there could be expectations depending on the situation. It is important to keep things light for sure. Thanks for sharing and posting.
