Mother's Are Special

Mother's Are Special I think mothers are special. At least my mother was to me. She took care of me when I was sick, grocery shopped, and fed me. I was fortunate to have a mother that was loving and caring. Some people do not here. Of course we had disagreements like all mother's and 's do. I was very close to my mother we did almost every thing together. We went shopped for clothes together and had little lunches. Now I am older now I really treasure those moments with your mother. It has been a couple of years since my mother passed on now. I do miss her. I think any parent is gone. It sure leave a big whole in your life. Please treasure the moments with your mother because you never know what it is like to be with out a mother? I had to take care of my mother later in her life. Even though it was hard work I enjoyed taking care of her to the best of my ability. It was not easy taking care of her but I did it and that was a accomplishment. I know all parents have to leave you one way or the other. I just wished she had a more pleasant ending. If she was with me she might be still alive. I guess you can not wish how your mother is going to go. It can be slow or fast. Enough of the sadness lets enjoy this special day and remembering your mother. Just being thoughtful and considerate. Hello Roxy and who ever else reads this. Mothers are very special I was the baby of the family so was a little spoiled by my mom. She always got me out of trouble with my dad lol. As I became older she became even more special or maybe it was beacause I just grew up. We would hike, travel and do lots together. She passed away a few years back and not a day goes bye that I don't say hi to her some how. There are so many questions I wish I asked her but I didn't think of at the time maybe some day.

I lost my Mother just after last Thanksgiving so this Mother's Day just didn't seem right. She went peacefully at home in her own bed so that was somewhat of a blessing. But even knowing the end was near it still hurt when she passed. Don't miss an opportunity to tell Mom I love you and thank her for all she's done.

Both my mother and father have been gone now for many years. Thank you for your touching account of your Mom. It's obvious you loved her a lot, and that's the main thing that really counts. I was a middle child. Actually the 3rd child of 4. Neither my mother or father liked me very much--I was a contrary and difficult child with a mind of my own... But.... my German grandmother--my father's mother--who lived with us, adored me. I was her gem, her little diamond. Of course my Grandmother and my Mother hated each other, but my father who was an only child, insisted that his mother, my grandmother lived with us. My grandmother always had her own apartment in our old 3-story farm house, and my mother forbid me from going into grandma's rooms..My mother said grandmother was a witch. Of course I did anyway at least once a day. My grandmother taught me many spiritual things when I was very young. She taught me to meditate and because of her I've always been lucky and know that sex is wonderful and nothing to be ashamed of... So, for today, I think of my Grandmother, Jenny, and send my love to her through time and space. I love you Grandma, and always will. xxxxdavid

Mom was in town this weekend and it was good. She'll get flowers when she gets home tomorrow.
