 I have come to dislike lemonade and really appreciate your rant today. I like the answer you gave your children. And for the sunburn- cold tea works and smells better than vinegar. It's the tannins that fix the sting Happy Wednesday

 sorry to hear about the weekend from hell you had..Glad that you got to spend time with your daughter and also glad you didnt murder anyone lol ..I dont know if i could have that kind of control...but i did get my first husband back after like 40 years for cheating on me and with the gf getting pregnant who he cheated with...it felt good....ask some time and i will tell..I got computer hacked over the weekend ..cost alot to get it fixed...such is life ..it is what it is..

There are times where I know that the kids know that she gets to me, and both my daughter and son know she rips into me for no reason. My daughter even asked me once "Dad, how come mom always insults you and you rarely say anything to her?" And I just replied back that no matter how much abuse you take from someone that doesn't like you or hates you, that you need to pick your battles as to when to make a stand and the rest of the time, you ignore that person. Make it in your mind that you don't mind them being petty and they don't matter, and in the end, it eats them up inside. Plus, because you guys are involved and it's your mom, I don't play her games because I'm not married to her anymore. You have to because she's your mom. I don't.

As to physically harming her, I don't hate her. I just pity her. She's sad and she puts on a front for others that her shit doesn't stink when I know it does. Now, I know my shit stinks. I acknowledge it when I can and when I can do something about it, I do what I can to fix it. She on the other hand is stuck and won't acknowledge anything until it becomes to much for her and then she finally does stuff to fix it.

It's all about control in what you can do to fix your own shit. The rest of it...you just give it up to God and let him figure it out in his own master plan.

I'd love to see that blogpost on how you got your ex back. That sounds like an interesting story!

Ugggh! That's no good. I'm glad you got your computer fixed, but yeah that is a bummer. Hang in there!

The thing is...there are times when she's a reasonable, normal human being. And then there are days when she's a complete and total bitch. And for the life of me, she's said she let things go, but I know for a fact there are days when she sees me and she still likes to drop the spurs into me because I exist.

I really wish she would let it go and just get over it.
