Getting a bit tired of the bullshit here...

Today's not been a good day.

I've had 6 conversations in the past two weeks. All of these people have for the most part pretty much have been a waste of time.

-I had one person ask me for my phone number, so I replied back that if she's serious, she'd give me her number first. I've gotten no reply.
-Another person ask me for the same thing, so when I asked her if she's serious, she give me her number, so she said "I am serious, but I asked you first." So I called her on her bluff, and gave her my number. It's been 3 days and she hasn't replied back at all. -It doesn't take 3 days to call someone or even text them for that matter.
Remember the person that stood me up last week for the Thursday lunch date and said she'd text me back soon? It's been a week. It doesn't take a week to get back to someone.
-How about the person that messaged me back saying she missed me on Sunday? I haven't heard from her at all, even after I gave her my number so we could talk.
-Of course, then today I had a woman from Texas try to contact me to talk to me and get me to talk offline. I'm not messing with a long distance relationship.
-And then someone else who I messaged yesterday to where we could set up a meet, and she hasn't responded after that.

And then to top it all off, I get contacted by some woman here who at first wanted to get together with me, but ONLY after she said I joined her fan club and bought tokens for her website (I'm not going to mention her name or her website) and that I became one of her members of her fan club on her website. I've gotten her profile banned twice so far, and today I reported her profile again for solicitation, so hopefully this will be the 3rd time.

I know that there are some live women here on this website. I know some of them are serious and they are for real. But when confronted by another man who's also serious and real and wants to actually meet, they panic and then disappear like a bad fart in the wind. Or they're hiding that they are married. Or that they're here just to get so that they can text you shit about hooking up with prostitutes. Or here to promote their cam sites.

It's fucking ridiculous. And I hold no hopes of FriendFinder-x fixing any of this. It's literally the same crap that's happened here for over 20 years, but worse. Look I have no doubt some people actually meet up here. But how can my luck be so shitty? If you owned this website, what would you do to fix the massive problems here? What changes would you do to make this site better?

 Sure the site has its glitches.All the other drama and hardships come from those
who use this place.

I think women with their face in the picture are more trusted than women who don't put their face in their profile, but I understand that some women need to protect their identity due to their employment.

 I can relate..thats why I rarely gave my phone number away...mostly only chat in some messenger ...I had a guy from this site bailed on me like 2 hrs before meeting time. weird.
if I owned the website ill make everyone confirmed their identity haha...

I think that might be a better solution, getting people to confirm their identify. I rarely try to talk to anyone unless they have verified or confirmed their identify here.

 I never give my phone#. I use an email. If he proceeeds and talks to me through email and appears legit, only then would I go with the phone.
Be realistic. If she is 24 and looks like a model, she is not going for an older
everyday guy on here. Those girls go for the rich and famous. If they are too eager and want the phone and email at that moment, red flag. I will not be rushed. I have no idea what the site can do or if it wants to fix it. Depends on how much revenue it gets, I imagine.

This site makes a ton of revenue a year, probably in the hundreds of millions of dollars a year. So if it's bringing in money, this site won't make changes until revenue goes down.

And I agree with you. I rarely if ever give out my phone number. I've been using a new method where I ask to meet up first locally before ever giving out my number or email.

 First thing I'd do is fire the IT team and get them replaced!!! And maybe middle management, if there is one, probably needs to vacation ASAP maybe permanently. I really feel for you. I am on-line friends with several real women and I assure you we do exist. But I share the frustraton- there are no men in my neck of the woods so I have expanded my search to up to two hours away just to see what happens. Believe me, we ladies get just as much trash as you do. I'll add it to my letter

Well, seeing as I am an Data Center Engineer, I can tell you the IT team is constantly hammered every day with stuff. So much so that one problem can take at least 48-72 hours just before they can even LOOK at the problem, and that's not even starting on it.
IT people are a hard working lot, but they can get overwhelmed. Now that's not to say that some of them should not be fired. Some of those on the IT team are lazy or they don't know their shit. They basically got hired on so that they can do the bare minimum. Each company has good and bad people at their teams, so I could say that having them looking at the IT team and evaluating them would be an excellent idea.

I know there are some real people out there. But the thing is, even if a person IS real, doesn't mean that they are serious about meeting people. Some of these people just create a profile on a whim and they are not even close to serious about meeting anyone here.

 Kinda sad. I paid for 3 months gold memberdhip. 1st night a girl half my age sends me a message. "Do you want to fuck with me" good looking, from 150 miles away, says in town for a training seminar for work, and staying in a local hotel, even puts the address, but no room number. And asked me for my number. All in the first message. I see the site warning not to give out contact info on the first message. So I'm reluctant to give my number. So I told here yes I do, and try to chat a little bit first. She messages me back saying you didn't send your number. Bye.
The next day I check her profile to see a new pic posted with a guy about my age hitting it from behind in a hotel room.
Kinda sad, I haven't meet anyone on this site yet. That was my only chance.
9 days remain till gold membership expires. Unless magic happens I won't be back.
I've given my number numerous times, only to be solicited for prostitution. Give out my email, I get signed up for other sites. Getting over 150 spam messages daily now, and have more blocked numbers on my phone, that family and friend contacts.
Thinking the algorithms will get serious now so they can get more money.
Kinda sad what a waste of time this whole experience has been.

Actually, while I would prefer not to give out a name, she's supposedly local to my area. And no, she's supposed to be 32 according to her profile, but last time she was 42 from her previous profile. So no, probably not the same person.
