Illicit

it might be
odd to say
but in a way
they were
childlike

innocent

playing with
their sex
and sexuality

knowing how
exposure
might shake
their world
to its
core

but
not wanting
their own
special
dream
to end

Hum wondering did the picture or possibly a sculpture inspire these words?? or are they from your own experience?? Wonderful as always Warm.

First, my thanks for complimenting dear smooth. I had the pic in my directory (I really like it) with perhaps the intention of using it in a post one day, and it somehow seemed so apt for this one. The words come from experience. Speaking personally I don't find relating to others something that is calculated or contrived, but rather something that almost inexplicably happens, becomes something shared between two people that connect ........ and in that sense there is a kind of innocence within the relationship itself, even if it is not so with the world at large. Does that make sense? I hope so.
