Starting it with a bang!

Starting it with a bang!

That's what they say about the new year, isn't it? Well mine certainly did.

Last night I was Nobby Nomates again for new years eve parties as I didn't get an invite to go anywhere So I thought I'd just go out anyway. Looked up a local pub on the internet (thank you who ever invented it, it's been a real lifesaver! ) and saw that they were having a disco. Got myself dressed up and went at 7.30. When I got there, it wasn't very busy but it was still a bit early so I got myself a drink and sat down. Decided to help the time go by texting my friends, one of which I know from FriendFinder-x. She left it a few months ago, but we still keep in touch by text on a regular basis. I asked her what she was up to tonight and she replied that she was at home in bed watching DVDs. "What?!" Apparently, she was going out with her mate, but they'd let her down an hour before. If I'd have know about the disco earlier, I'd have asked her to come with me but I thought it was a bit late when I found out about it. Shit! I told her she could have gone with me and she said

"Yes, that would have been nice."

So to make up for it I asked her if she fancied a night out with me in the new year.

"Yes please, that sounds good to me"

Fantastic! So that made me feel better By 9.00 (and 3 beers later) the disco had started, but the DJ was playing '70's Disco and I'm not a massive fan of that so I sat that out. Eventually, he stepped into the 21st centuary and started playing decent tunes and I got up and had a boogie. As per-norm, I just danced and got ignored by the women. Then a very young girl starts jigging in front of me with her back to me. Her mates kept egging her on as she backed into me and when she turned her head, she looked about 14! Woaw! No no no! That's too young for me, I thought and backed off much to her disapointment. Then for the next few hours til 12 I got ignored again but kept on dancing not wanting it to spoil my night.

BOING!

and the new year came and I joined in in a circle to sing 'Auld Lang Syne' followed by 'New York, New York' (don't see the connection other than 'New' being in the title) and then went round wishing people a happy new year, getting a few kisses and cuddles as well from the women. I fancied a break from dancing and had a bottle of Cider. After I'd finished it, I went back out onto the dance floor. The Scissor Sisters - 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' was on - love that. Then, I felt a bum rubbing against mine. I turned my head to see and there's a woman getting jiggy with me! (I reckon that cider must have been a magic potion because she stayed with me right up until the last dance an hour later!) I turned round and saw she was a older than me but that was ok. I held her hands and pulled her towards me and gave her a close dance. She told me that her name was Sue and that I had good rhythm for dancing even though I'd been drinking. I had to hold her up to stop her from falling over a couple of times as she'd had rather a lot more to drink than me. She was very kissy with me. She liked looking at my neck for some reason. Maybe she was intrigued with my necklace which has my name on a pendant on it in Eygptian Hieroglyphics. Never found out why. She smiled at me a lot as well. We carried on dancing, sometimes close and then just holding hands. At 1.10, she went outside for a smoke.

1.15 and the DJ finished his set (the website said it went on til 3.00 so I was a bit dissapointed) and the lights came back on. I waited for Sue to come back in, and when she did she sat down next to me. Now, you know how when it's dark and the only lights you can see by are flashing in diferent colours? Well, when I saw Sue I suddenly realised she was a bit older than I'd thought she was. Don't get me wrong, I've nothing against older women, but she was a bit too old for me. Not wanting to hurt her feelings, I stayed with her and even gave her a foot massage as she'd been dancing barefoot with me. After, she told me that I was very good at it (considering that I've never done one before, that was quite a compliment ) We chatted for half an hour and then her girlfriend and her boyfriend she'd gone with (she might have been her ) told her that a taxi was on it's way for them. Sue asked me who I'd come with tonight and I told her I was on my own. The next thing she said really surprised me as it's not something I get asked a lot "Can I have your phone number?".
"No, sorry", I said. I know what you are going to say, "Oh, why didn't you?" Well, seeing as I got a date of sorts earlier from my friend by text, Sue probably won't remember much off what happened last night and will womder whos number she's got. When her taxi came, I gave her a hug and kissed her goodnight. I told her it was nice meeting her and maybe I'll see her here again. I left shortly afterwards and got home about 2.30. Stayed in bed 'til 11.00

So, that was my night. One to remember and I'm glad I went out. How was your's?

Jacko

P.S. Feel a bit guilty now about my number.

Well i never,
a man that'll dance.....
A rare breed you is Jacko Hunni
Sounds like you had a pretty good night all in all.
Don't feel a bit guilty now about not giving Sue your number.
Sounds to me like you handled it like a true gentleman & if she was out of your idea of a comfy age bracket then why would you give her your number Hun.
I'd say she had a really good night thanks to you so i wouldn't be too worried about it.
As for the foot rub, i would NEVER ask you for one but my lower back & bum cheeks could use some work, just be careful of the bruises.....
Ok!? hehee
Happy New Year to you Sweetness

Thank you Shazzi. I'd have felt a right shit if I'd have just left her. The foot massage was good for me too. She couldn't stop smiling at me, so I would say she definatly enjoyed herself.

Just warming my hands up for you now, love Oil ok for you?

love Jacko x
