To Renew As Gold Or Simply Go Standard??? I'm really debating with myself as to go ahead and keep my gold membership or keep to my financial diet and let my membership go standard...I could compromise and go silver but for some reason, if I don't stay gold, why bother with silver? I'll more than likely renew the gold. I'm not allowing myself any luxuries lately so, a gold membership will be the only splurge allowed besides a hair cut. I like the ability to view profiles at will, to browse as I desire and respond to blogs and group posts as I want...sending e-mails would also be hindered by the status change... More than likely I'll remain gold. How about you all, are you all looking for little ways to cut costs? Do you allow for little luxuries like your FriendFinder-x membership status? UPDATE: I went ahead and renewed my GOLD...I have to have one little luxury to keep me while I'm on my financial diet. I had also faced this decision a while back and decided to keep the gold. Funny though I also thought about going silver but they did not have the option to go silver from gold.....? I was thinking I would just let my account go to standard then upgrade to silver. Silver has almost the same privileges as gold. Since leaving my Gold in the winds back on December 12...I have been contemplating whether or not I should renew my Gold membership in which as you have already stated you can do a whole lot more with a Gold Membership and I think this month I might just end up going back to Gold status? I’m not a power user. Blogging when I have time, an occasional email (though mostly these days this is used with existing friends, not in seeking new ones) so silver is just fine for me. Not really sure what Gold would get me. But you do have a point Liza. Despite everything, you do need to allow yourself a few luxuries, and if for you that is Gold ‒ go for it!
