Sunday Reflections...

Another Sunday morning, another beginning of a week of summer.

This past week was a fairly good one. I had a quiet Monday since the gal I sit next to was out on a vacation day...Tuesday found me doing our office group birthday party. Tuesday also found me getting bawled out by my cube-mate for talking about her personal life even though everyone within ear shot can hear all her personal phone calls throughout the work day...not to mention the blow-by-blow drama as it unfolds in 15 minute increments. I have noticed that she's stopped posting on her page about every emotion of her day and all the drama going on...of course, her 's wrestling season is just about completely over until school starts sometime in August. A little reprieve, but not much.

I stuck to my walking workouts, only took Friday off and that was because I had gotten too hot the evening before at walking group. Yes, I was even up and out the door this morning, even though it was raining, doing my morning walk. Talk about a whole different experience!! I stayed cool until it stopped raining on the far side of my workout...then the sun was trying to pop through, which it never really came out in full force and effect...thank heavens!!! When the sun does come out today, it will be so steamy and sticky...there was a nice northerly breeze blowing every now and then but otherwise, just a little cooler and yes, wetter!!!

I was able to enjoy my dear subbie this week. I enjoy sessioning dear subbie once a month. We both wish it could be more but it simply isn't economical at this time.

Oh, Friday, I attended my oldest 's graduation...I was so proud of him. The reality that he is a man gave me a start. do grow up and head out on their own. What an awesome responsibility to raise into productive thriving adults!! I was glad I could take my dad and grandma, though I was totally exhausted from the day.

I got a lot accomplished in my garage yesterday. It sure was hot and steamy but I paced myself with little breaks to check my mail, drink some Gatoraid and then back to work I went. I never did find what I've been frantically looking for...the missing arms of my inversion table. They're around here somewhere, just have to figure out where!

I'll be entertaining a new friend this afternoon...a sensual, sexual adventure...and then tomorrow, I'm supposed to take an extended lunch hour and entertain my sugar daddy from the office...I hope the time constraint doesn't cause him too much anxiety...it has been almost 5 years since we've been together sexually. Schedules simply have not allowed any naughty, nasty fun between us except a couple of blow jobs here and there and one tryst in his office...oh, the thrill of getting caught!!! So, we're doing an extended lunch tomorrow...he'll be providing me the monetary means by which to purchase the sexy sandals I've been lusting/obsessing about all summer...Yes, I'll be fucking for shoes tomorrow!!

Two celebrities died this week, Farah Facet and Michael Jackson. It must be a slow news time because we achieved over-kill within 24-hours after Michael Jackson died. Good grief, enough all ready!!! Can you tell we're a society addicted to drama? Especially if it's someone else's drama!!!

This coming week will have me continuing with my walking workouts in preparation for the Firecracker 5k on Saturday morning of the 4th of July. I have Friday, July 3rd off from the office, which will be really nice. I'm still trying to decide what to do with my 4th of July weekend since I screwed it up by signing up for the 5k race. Well, I didn't screw up the weekend completely...just made it a little more complicated to get together with out-of-town friends. Maybe I'll have folks over to my house for a naughty, nasty 4th of July party...that sounds like a lot of work that I'm simply not ready to undertake, so I'll continue to think on that one.

It looks like we'll get a break in the heat bubble this week...temps only climbing into the mid-90s instead of peaking at 100+ on a daily basis.
