Monday...Off and Running...

Monday...Off and Running...

So, this is a sucking Monday...it is cold and<b> damp </font></b>outside, 38 degrees. The young gal that just got back from her mission trip to Africa, whose husband asked her for a divorce, texted me yesterday evening and is going to take a sick day today...my tolerance for wallering in self-pity is a short. While I appreciate she feels that she's the biggest failure in the world, she needs to pull herself up and out of it...life moves on and forward. The SOB was not worthy of her and if she ever figures that out, she can get on with her life. Of course, this is the week before her period so she's much more susceptible to getting sick, which she had a sore throat by Thursday of last week...instead of going to the doctor to make sure she isn't coming down with strep or something, she's just laying around her house...just aggravating, not that I have to do any of her attorney's work, just tiresome drama...

The coffee maker that is less than 6 months old decided not to work this morning. Doing without the morning coffee is just not going to go very far, a new coffee maker will have to be secured this evening in order to have functionality through the mornings...maybe it is time to research and get a different brand. The last coffee maker lasted 4 years, this one, less than 6 months.

It just dawned on me that this is a short work week...wow, that is pretty awesome.

Got my early morning workout done but it was a struggle. I'm so damned manic when something doesn't work like it's supposed to, in this case it was the coffee maker, which my housemate was up and out getting us some coffee from the nearest Quick Trip...gotta love a man that HAS TO HAVE his coffee and brings you some, too.

Time to move along, way behind schedule and that definitely has me all manic and freaking out!!!
