Cuddled in your arms
calm and secure
listening to your heartbeat
your gentle hands caress me
serene and content
I want to feel like this always

Yet it also leads to
anticipation
a slow deep yearning
for something more intimate
less calm
you stoke some deep fire
gently, easily
almost stealthily
like it is there just for you
a secret

Caressing, touching, melting me
reshaping me, further malleable

your skin burns and soothes
at once
stirring the flames within

Hot and passionate your lips on mine
tongues playing their own game of tag
back and forth
making me moan against your lips
making me melt farther into your arms

The way your eyes bore into my soul

trying to veil myself with eyelashes
yet unable to shield myself
