Car dancing
Car dancing There's a TV commercial here for a radio station (a "local" station, but it's ClearChannel so I'm sure you have the same commercial where you live, if you're in the States) that shows a woman driving her car, bopping her head to some "lite rock" and then looking embarrassed when the people in the next car see her. That's me. No, not the actress in the commercial, but the car-dancing girl, of which there is at LEAST one in every city... Except I'm rarely embarrassed by it. Was doing it on the way home from work today, made all the more interesting by the fact that I had taken off my short-sleeved sweater and was wearing only a lacy white camisole. Great car-dancing tunes (not to be confused with car-singing tunes, which are too numerous to mention)? Fire Woman, by the Cult Pour Some Sugar on Me, by Def Leppard Smooth, by Santana with Rob Thomas Are You Gonna Be My Girl, by Jet (sp?) Honky Tonk Women, by the Rolling Stones Squeeze Box, by the Who My Sharona, by the Knack You Really Got Me, by the Kinks Be My Baby Tonight, by John Michael Montgomery I Like It, I Love It, by Tim McGraw I'm A Believer, by Smashmouth Shakin', by Eddie Money What about you? What are YOUR favorite car-dancing songs? Or chair-dancing? Or just plain dancing? |

For car-DANCING? Singing, I can see, anything by the Eagles works... Dancing, no. That would be "Already Gone," "Heartache Tonight," "The Greeks Don't Want No Freaks"...
