Cause of society. simple as that. its almost taboo. society frowns upon it and its pretty jacked up, and whilst i think that while age should never matter, it will pretty much always will.

It only matters if you let it. You are indpendent enough to be here it is not a far stretch to live a life where people matter and age doesn't.

Age doesn't matter. The mind is what dictates your age! I would agree with Dravisva, however, society dictates lots of things other than just age. It dictates who you can and can't (well, "shouldn't") sleep with also.

I agree with the above, society tried to say only people close in age should be together. They way I see it, if two people like to be with each other what the hell does age matter.

Yeah, it's a funny thing, age and expectation. People say I don't look my age at all - and I don't feel it either. It's birthdays! if we didn't have em we wouldn't worry! You're right on too - we "oldies", have learn't a thing or two along the way so there's a chance we could be more interesting.

Good post for your first one. And really age shouldn't matter anywhere. Maybe I'm missing the point of your post but I believe you're refering to the "fantasy" world on this site. I try to speak to everyone, ladies mainly of course, regardless of age. If they become obnoxious then they're done in my opinion. There are some folks that only see age and berate the younger ones with out even letting them say a word. Maybe they feel threatened somehow. I don't know because I don't feel that way. AB No Bozos

Age matters only if one has not grown up emotionally or mentally. Wisdom comes with age. Otherwise one does not look outside of the box. Their lose b/c we all know with age there is experience. But, hey that is only one of many obstacles There are others/ IE Race, homophobia and others. These are not just preferences all the time.

Thank you AB, I agree. No debates from me. I love to play with all men, my prefrence, but have played with women when the mood strikes me. I'm not sure why someone would feel threatened by playing with somone older or younger, but I know everyone has their limits and boundaries as well as prefrences. I'm pretty open and enjoy a lot. Silky, I know what you mean. I guess I am sometimes guilty of not opening up more as to other prefrences. I guess it all plays into what we are used to and how adventerous we are. I like playing with men mostly, but have played with women, but only when it strikes me, and I can count on one hand how often that has happened. Thanks for opening my eyes to other possibilities. Age SHOULD have no bearing.We all bring our various talents to the table and should be judged solely on those talents/gifts in any given situation,whether that be to a job application or a relationship. Its often said with age comes wisdom-not a universal truth-but in general terms pretty accurate.Experience used to count,unfortunately it seems experience(in the job market at least) carries too high a price tag. Thankfully,in social situations less so! The old adage of 'many a good tune played on an old fiddle'still holds. You only have to look on FriendFinder-x and the number of couples where -usually the male-one partner is 45+ and the female in her 30s,20s even,to see that. When it comes to cyberspace it has no relevance at all,save possibly in terms of comportment.(some of the more brash youngsters have yet to learn certain customs and unwritten rules!) I 'play' with women of all ages.Their looks and age have nothing to do with their ability to conjure up the neccesary mental images. Thats my two pen'orth. Sweets,you are in a prime position to comment on the above as we have 'had' each other once or twice in chat and i've enjoyed every single second.And given that i'm Methuselah to your spring chicken................... i'll leave you to work it out from there....... For what it's worth. My best playmates usually are a couple of years older, and actually I'm someone who has enjoyed someone who is over a size 14-16. I do enjoy playing, so it seems to be getting more difficult to find someone who meets this.....maybe I need to change my "desires?" Nope...don't think I will.....

women are appealing as long as their looks hold up, whatever age that is, the older a chick is typically the more she loses her looks. time is not a womans friend. women also look down on males ages, complaining if he is too young or too old. old men are shit on in american society cause everyone considers them creepy,etc.
