Can You Help Me?

For approximately five years I have enjoyed the friendship of a neighbor from across the street , a man who is an immigrant from Mexico that has graciously welcomed me into his home to celebrate various events and holidays with his family and friends on multiple occasions. I have relished attending every one of these and have felt a genuine atmosphere of mutual respect and friendship in spite of the fact that I am Caucasian. I have never felt even a hint of discrimination from anyone though I speak no Spanish requiring an interpreter for most communication, we still get the message across for the most part, I think! He baffles me by his unique greeting and behavior on almost every opportunity---I have never asked him or felt comfortable deferring to someone in attendance what he is attempting to say by his actions toward me directly facing my direction. He immediately places both of his open hands side by side atop his ample groin while grabbing a handful with both hands and yelling something in Spanish at the top of his lungs! We have never been sexual toward each other and am at a loss for an explanation for the point of his behavior. You can understand my reluctance to ask immediate companies? Please comment if you are not as ignorant as I am in this case, and thank you for your help!
