How do you get past a nickname?

Let me explain ....

I was recently discussing our work's annual picnic and made a comment about the DJ that ran the sound system. We have one predominant DJ around here that pretty much everyone knows the name of...and that was him.

Anyway, my friend said that her old college roommate had dated him and commented (complained) about how wide he was...coke can width. So, that was what they called him "Coke Can"...now how are you supposed to carry on a normal conversation with the man with that running around your head?????

PS - bet it would play hell with TMJ...

 Ask him about it. If he's packing that much meat, he'll be proud to discuss it, maybe even display it for you. You know you're curious, right ?

Once you get that out of the way, i think it'll be easier to just move past it all.

And if i'm wrong, you'll still have one helluva story to tell!
