    Quoting wittywoman:
I hope for the day when the political scandal breaks that an ISIS leader actually knew of the club, had been there and decided it would be funny to name his group of whack jobs after it..
Said Isis leader should be so lucky if any of his promised virgins are as wonderful as the average club denizen!

I had no idea. I never knew there were such places, well I heard about Plato's but I really thought it was about the only place for this sort of thing. Educational indeed, the things I learn here and on the internet. Shall we celebrate? I can order a cake if you wish. Apparently Walmart will make one for you, oh maybe not. I think they've wised up now.

My daughter has just applied for a position, in of all places, Leeds, not at the club.
Aww, what a pretty cake? For whose bar mitzvah was it ordered?

Best of luck to your daughter and the new position... For what? Keep us in the loop...

I managed to get to the Sutro Baths in San Francisco a few times. A gay bathhouse that famously went coed about thirty years ago. Took the name of the famous ruined swimming complex by the Cliff House. And it was amazingly cheap.

I'm surprised that it went coed: I know that straight clubs (a term that usually includes bisexual women, but that's a topic for another time) will occasionally have "gay night," but gay clubs, I've always thought, tended to be exclusive...

Ah,. for more innocent times!
