Like kazoopair, I have interesting memories of a French teacher fro the late 60s....and so voted for teacher
Although there is something to be said about an art teacher painting a surrealistic scene with a cat dipped in chocolate....the mind boggles

Oh, pulheeeze! Just shows how much you know about cats. Hrmpff!
I had a cat once that loved to nap on top "Dada & Surrealism" by Robert Short and licked chocolate mousse from my finger.
The only reason your cat liked to nap atop Robert Short's book is that your cat knew you were going to read it.

Cats are like that...

I trust we'll see an appropriate image based on these four themes... Looking forward to your participation on Aug. 7!

Mm, chocolate.
Pouring it, licking it up, crunching through it when it is a bar...
Oh huh. I need to stop thinking about it.
Thank you for doing this, yet again.

Cats or teachers. I went with the underdog. Lol.

I was severely torn between cats and teachers. I could write reams about both. Which ever one doesn't make it this time, I can only hope it goes on the next list for 22 Glad you are back

Wait, chocolate?

We were doing so well on the imagery, and then you had to bring in Nestle's...

I have a great story about my high school biology teacher or another couple of teachers and their affair in high school. But should it be about a teacher of another sort? A person that taught me something intimate? Oh dear I want to puke about exes right now. All they taught me is that I was a fool. LOL I might not want to write about cats although I have a kinky story about one cat I had. I recently lost a beloved cat as she passed away on July 4th. Chocolate is chocolate...it is eaten in place of men in my experience. LOL As to surrealism, I am going to have to need more to go on with that topic.... Good luck to whichever subject wins.
Any way in which you wish to interpret the topic is the correct way... so anything that constitutes a teacher (should that topic win) would be acceptable. A kinky story about a cat? I'm intrigued.

As for Surrealism, there's both capital-s surrealism (the early twentieth century art movement) or the lower-case adjective surrealism, meaning the bizarre and/or dream-inspired.

Chocolate is indeed chocolate... although oddly enough, I've never eaten it to replace anyone.

Never tell a cat it's an underdog. They hate the term.

I like chocolate the best.

Hell... you could have chocolate cats or even chocolate teachers.

And if I was an intellectual, and knew what the hell surrealism was... probably THAT, too.

Given that one of these topics was your suggestion, I'm delighted to see you here! And yes, you seem appropriately intrigued by the topics, so perhaps we can coerce another photo montage out of you?

Your schoolmarmish bent is offset by your love of (and apparent expertise in) pool, although I'll grant you I knew a physics teacher or two who could clear a table in a single round.

Sounds as though we might have actually pulled you from your delightful diversion from this site... if so, lucky us! Hugs back atcha!

Runner-up topics do have a way of showing up again, so I'd say your hope for the second-place entry is pretty well founded...

Furthermore, cats and chocolate are a lot alike. They can be sweet, they can be bitter. They're nearly universal (ever been someplace where cats or chocolate weren't more than ten minutes away? And on hot days, they run at about the same rate.

Surrealism would be fun, wouldn't it? I'd love to see what our warped contributors do with it...

These are all good topics, but how can I resist teachers? Everyone can relate to that one.

Hurray for the Symposium!
