The Pleasure of Pleasing
I’m listening to the Bridge on XM radio and an old Carly Simon song is being played. The song reminded me of just how much I missed the pure joy of pleasing a woman.

Nobody does it better
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you

I have always been uncomfortable with compliments, I think to some extent that is a man thing. However, when those compliments center around my skill as a lover, when they are shared in the afterglow of hours of intense pleasure, they can be one of the greatest gifts a man can receive.

Reaching stratospheric levels of pleasure requires a very special chemistry between two people. Tenderness creates a sense of comfort, a canvas on which passion can vibrantly come to life. Great sex is often a menagerie of little things that build upon each other. A<b> skilled </font></b>lover is an artist that reads the canvas of her body and selects the perfect combination from his palate of knowledge of the things that bring her pleasure. Majestically gliding the brush across the canvas and seeing the image come to life in the form of clenched sheets, a racing heart and a longing in her eyes.

There are many questions and polls on this site about what men and woman enjoy the most about sex and they center on different activities. But nothing will ever compare to the sweet sound of lover’s voice saying “you were amazing”. Having those words totally confirmed by the beautiful sense of exhaustion and satisfaction as you nestle in each other’s arms after hours of being lost in a sea of passion. A lingering sense of passion that leaves her trembling with cravings of anticipation of getting lost in you again.

I miss those moments and the look of amazement in her eyes when she’s just experienced pleasure in a way she never has before and she says those precious sweet words “Baby you’re the best”.

I totally agree, especially when two people have a really special chemistry and great communication. When you can reach a comfort level with someone it becomes very natural.
