 So I had been on this site before, when the wife mentioned she wanted to get a divorce I jumped back onto Passion.com, and after reading my posts, and seeing the kinds of friends I had made here she wanted to join too. So she set up her own account but I helped right her profile, and introduced her to "the Gang" as it were. I even introduced her to the guy she is now dating. It is a little dd having a wife who you are no longer intimate with tagging along, and even worse when she is having a bad day and starts taking "pot shots" at you in front of the whole group. But most of the group understands, and they take everything she says with a grain of salt (I tried to warn her that her petty attitude was actually turning some of the folks against her). But as she get more comfortable she fits in better and better, and I can kinda watch over her and make sure she is safe, warn her away from the creeps, patch her into the "ladies reference network". So it has actually worked out for the best. It seems like your situation is kinda similar to mine (but neither of us is battling cancer so we have it a LOT less stressful...), and it seems to be working out for us...
On the flip side... there are lots of indy groups.... he can go get his own...

Ya know, if he didn't have his own outlet I'd agree. He is seeing someone though so he does have that. In the end he said if I need my space than he'll give it me and he didn't realize it would make me uneasy.
