I think that I am a bit of both : active and background. Most often, lack of response is tied either to a mood, and I plan to go back when in a better frame; or it is that the phrasing is just not needing anything else to muddy it up. Of course, there are those I will catch a post or two - and decide that they have no interest in interaction with their readers - to the positive or negative - and it is then I pretty much decide my time is better spent elsewhere. Every time I hit {publish} I am leaving a little piece of me out there, and I hope that it draws others in, makes them think, wonder, agree or disagree...but to create an emotional response. Sure, I would think that most have come in search of something - be it a friend, lover, partner, conversation or interactions. Some come for all, some see that much is possible and start reaching for it. I do think I have found some commonality with folks I wouldn't have otherwise encountered, and perhaps gave others food for thought. It's all just the pieces of me that I choose to share on this forum. And, since I have lousy balance, I tend to not set on any one branch for any great amount of time. Keep on keeping on, you gain such a fan when I drop line in your space...
