A question for Veterans

So at your age, if your Country needed you would go back into any branch of the Service? Why or why not? I would like a few replies before I answer.

To all that have or are serving thank you. To those that gave all may your loss be our constent reminder that freedom is not free.

To answer this questions I feel at my age I 'm still in the military. You see I have 30 years in the military and even though my retirement date is coming up soon. If during my reitrment I'm needed again I would go. Even though I have been told numerous time that this is a young mans military I feel what better people to have in case of an nations emergency its the veterans who have been there and done that that will make things happen.
From one Veteran to another, thank you for your service.

I ask this question out of respect. My feelings have always been that if needed I would return. At 53 not sure if they would even take me anymore. When I was in Vietnam, had finished a few years before. I remember being asked how many babies I hoped to kill. I went into a bar in Tucson Ariz and asked 18 women to dance. Not one would because of my Haircut.

I would return if needed. It tears me apart on days like this that my Nephew a young Lt. is overseas fighting. The family has cut off ties so I can not even write him.

being that I have never served, i doubt i would ever be called up.....but you bet your sweet ass if this county was (physically) invaded I'd jump in.

cant do much about the current invasions that are happening.

again, for all the vets current and past and future, for sacrifice big and small, thank you.
