Brown fields and greening grass Sitting here looking out the window as the clouds blow across the sun making shaded patterns on the fields. My Maple is starting to show some flowers and the grass has just turned a lovely shade of green! Hmm after a long winter perhaps Spring has arrived. That feeling of better get back to work is setting in. Work on my house. Gardens, trees, remodel, Wood stove. Work on my Shop, where do I start? Work on my passions that I have shuttered for the last 2 years. You may say hobby which I do have. But for those hobbies that really involve you, I say passion. Due to several factors I stepped away from my one big passion. Fake and lazy people, time, money and travel. My fear is that I miss doing it but not with that thirst that I did have for it. Maturing in my passion? Perhaps? Tired and worn out maybe that to. I keep thinking this will be like meeting a friend at the Airport. One you have not seen for awhile. Everything you need to know is in that first few minutes. Its in the hug, the look in their eyes. So much the same here. Will I remember how to do it? Will my hands touch it just right? Does the smell still get my blood pumping? I am ever mindful of being on here. Through the years my life and other passion has seen its up and downs. But on here as with life one must make that connection before any thing else happens. What is funny is that being on here no longer seems strange. Its feels open and free. So off to remake that connection! |
