What are you thankful for?

One of the sad things to see is this trend to rob us of this Holiday. We are allowing retailers to turn this into the new start of the Christmas season. If there is a holiday that should be part of our lives it is this day. When I pray I was taught to always thank the creator first for all that you have. Then ask what you need. Some how it makes my needs seem smaller than what I have. Before we start this season of, "I want" should we not remember what we have?

So here is what I am thankful for. A house, my gardens and my trees. Great neighbors and better friends. Food on my table and eyes to see the beauty of the world. A Sun to work under and a Moon to dream under. Good health and a job to keep me busy.
